Whether freeriding for its ease and lightness, or waveriding for its stability, the SURF was designed to push your limits and radicalize your surfing lines.
The diameter of the leading edge and central strut has been reduced to the maximum in order to obtain the least possible friction in the freefly and surf phases. This also allows the sail to be further lightened because small tubes imply less weight but also smaller and therefore lighter bladders. The race for weight is pushed to the extreme !
The SURF is available with a Dyneema or UPE structure. The canopy remains in 34 gr Dyneema for both models.
Weighing from 2.15 kg* for the 6m to 1.45 kg* for the 3m, the SURF was developed to achieve maximum lightness. The 100% Dyneema structure and canopy allows it to remain extremely robust over time despite this extreme lightness.

The shape has been designed to provide a certain flex on the wing's ears. This allows you to stay focused and continue to accelerate in full gust, without being destabilized and torn off. The SURF is the result of a compromise between a high dihedral to add low range but without sacrificing stability during freefly/surf phases.
Its 34 g/m² Dyneema® canvas makes it extra light but much more durable than spinnaker sails. This material provides a very pleasant flex when sailing.
Its interchangeable handles allow you to choose between flexible, semi-rigid, 100% rigid or the wishbone!
The Zephyr Wing is sold as standard with 100% rigid handles. However, it is possible to choose a configuration with the carbon wishbone and the 2 inserts in the middle in order to switch to handles or a configuration with the carbon wishbone without the 2 inserts in the middle (boom only).*weight of the wing without handles
